The Roman Forum is not simply a collection of ruins: it is the place where the history of Rome took place for over a thousand years.
What you'll do
Automatic translation ·
During this private tour, I will accompany you to the heart of the ancient city, exploring its political, religious, and commercial center. We will walk the Via Sacra, admire temples, basilicas, and triumphal arches, and retrace the stories of emperors, senators, generals, and ordinary citizens. Through stories, anecdotes, and historical and archaeological insights, we will discover not only the great events that shaped Roman history, but also the daily lives, ambitions, political intrigues, and passions of its protagonists. My goal, as a historian and licensed tour guide, is to go beyond simply describing the monuments and bring you back to life the Roman Forum as it appeared two thousand years ago, helping you understand why this extraordinary civilization left such a profound mark on our history.
